Insurance Defense / General Liability Defense Attorney

My client, a top law firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2 to 12 years of experience to join their litigation team in Manasquan, NJ

This position will focus on general liability/insurance defense, providing a unique opportunity to handle complex cases in a collaborative and client-focused environment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motion
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitration
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carrier
• Develop litigation strategies and work closely with senior attorneys and partner

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 2 – 12 years of experience in general liability and/or insurance defense
• Active license/ In good standing to practice law
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skill
• Excellent communication and advocacy skill
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $110k-180k base. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
