We’re seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide direct support to a senior attorney in the Family Law/Matrimonial department. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain detailed attorney calendars in Outlook, including scheduling meetings, court appearances, and appointments
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including preparing correspondence, organizing electronic and paper files, scanning, and copying
- Assist in preparing, serving, and filing pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and other court documents
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, letters, and memos using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Handle routine correspondence and professional email communications
- Manage administrative tasks such as opening new matters, conflict checks, and tracking internal approvals
- Support senior attorney with ad hoc projects and day-to-day operations to ensure seamless workflow
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of legal administrative experience, preferably in family or matrimonial law
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
