What You’ll Do
- Represent injured first responders, workers, and accident victims in workers’ compensation and personal-injury matters.
- Assist with and manage cases from intake and pre-suit investigation through litigation, mediation, and trial preparation, with appropriate supervision.
- Analyze liability, causation, damages, coverage, medical records, benefits, and other legal and factual issues.
- Prepare demands, pleadings, written discovery, deposition outlines, motions, memoranda, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research; develop case strategies; and help prepare clients, witnesses, experts, and exhibits for depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial.
- Communicate promptly and compassionately with clients while maintaining productive, professional relationships with courts, opposing counsel, co-counsel, unions, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor deadlines, maintain accurate case records and time entries, and stay current on legislation and developing case law.
What You’ll Bring
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar (required).
- Interest in workers’ compensation, personal injury, or civil litigation; relevant experience is welcome but not required.
- Strong legal writing, research, oral-advocacy, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound judgment, integrity, empathy, and a genuine commitment to client service.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, paperless environment using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and case-management systems.

Compensation & Benefits
- $80,000–$85,000 annual salary.
- Health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with a hybrid work arrangement based in Maitland, Florida.
