California Based Law Firm is looking for an Administrative Legal Assistant to fill a position in their Oakland Office.The ideal candidate will have previous Law Firm experience at some capacity; however, this is an entry level position wherein you will be required to assist and provide administrative support to Legal Assistants and Attorneys. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow into more of a full fledged Legal Assistant/Litigation Secretarial position.Requirements:· Prior Law Firm experience and/or an interest in working in a law firm· Have strong communication skills· Possess great Customer Service skills· Be computer savvy· Experience using Microsoft Office 365· Have strong attention to detailDuties:· Prepare correspondence and format pleadings· Act as back-up Receptionist when needed· Assist with the calendaring· Create, review and maintain electronic and physical case files· Assist in tracking projects· Enter Attorney’s billable time· Prepare check requests· Other duties as neededCompany DescriptionWe Value and Care about our Employees as much as we care about our Clients!
