What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Special Education Teacher - 2026-2027 School Year position at LaVerne Elementary and Desert Trails Preparatory Academy Charter School?
We are two passion driven campuses located in the High Desert area of Southern California. We believe that every child can learn. We are looking for individuals that are dedicated, determined, and passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
Teaching openings could be at either one of our schools, LaVerne Elementary Preparatory Academy located in Hesperia or Desert Trails Preparatory Academy in Adelanto. The Special Education Teacher will work in our campus Learning Center with our Special Education scholars who are with Mild to Moderate disabilities.
Candidates must possess or qualify for a Education Specialist Credential to serve students with Mild to Moderate disabilities. INTERNS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. Completed application, 3 letters of reference within the 2 years, copy of appropriate credential (or letter from your university) and copy of NCLB Compliance [Certificate or passing MSAT or CSET Multiple Subject scores] MUST BE NCLB COMPLIANT FOR ELEMENTARY, MULTIPLE SUBJECTS.
