You will report to the Assistant Area Manager, I&C Operations, and will be based out of our New Stanton, PA facility. This is an anchor position that is required on site 5 days per week.

As a Shop Technician I, Electrical Test, you will support electrical/I&C/mechanical assembly, repair, testing, refurbishment of equipment, components or tooling systems.
You will report to the Assistant Area Manager, I&C Operations, and will be based out of our New Stanton, PA facility. This is an anchor position that is required on site 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret basic mechanical and/or electrical drawings, codes, schematics, manuals, blueprints and procedures, and record data in the required form.
- Ability/knowledge of electrical equipment and/or painting methods, hand and power tool usage.
- Use basic electronic theory and components to build or repair assemblies.
- Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, connectors, or soldering.
- Operate electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Successfully complete and maintain applicable site-specific safety training including Electrical Safety; Radiation Safety; Hazards communications; Respiratory protection; Lifting/Handling; PPE Use, and any other required training. Complete certifications as applicable; train to job applicable procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year relevant experience with demonstrated electrical, mechanical, machining or inspection skills.
- Nuclear industry experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
