Accounting Specialist (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable)

Lava Propane is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with at least two years of

accounting-related experience to support our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

functions. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, values accuracy, and wants to

grow with a stable, family-owned company.

Responsibilities

 Accounts Payable processing

 Accounts Receivable processing

 Vendor invoice review and payment processing

 Customer billing and collections

 Vendor and customer reconciliations

 Bank/account reconciliations

 Month-end accounting support

 Maintain accurate financial records

 Work with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Management

 Identify process improvements

Qualifications

 Minimum 2 years of accounting, A/P, A/R, or bookkeeping experience

 Working knowledge of GAAP

 Accounting software experience (QuickBooks preferred)

 Intermediate Excel

 Strong organization, communication, confidentiality, and attention to detail
