We are searching for a full-time Audit Lead to join our Audit department. This role will be based in the Greater Milwaukee area.

Job Responsibilities
- Performs basic audit procedures, including testing transactions and reviewing financial records.
- Verifies accuracy of financial data by comparing items to supporting documentation.
- Prepares audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
- Assists in evaluating internal controls and identifying potential risks or compliance issues.
- Communicates audit findings and discrepancies to audit team members.
- Follows audit plans and ensures adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and supporting audit team members.
- Delivers professional and responsive client service by clearly communicating with clients and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 0-3 years of experience
- Pursuing CPA, a plus
- Government or Non-profit Audit experience preferred
- Ability to travel 80% of the time around the suburbs of Milwaukee with occasional travel to other locations in Wisconsin
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks
