Laurelmead Cooperative, a premier senior residence community on Providence's East Side, seeks a full-time Grounds /Maintenance Technician to maintain the beautiful, expansive grounds around the facility and to assist with maintenance duties as assigned. Must be a team player with good customer service skills. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Summary: The Grounds/Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the expansive grounds around the facility, including gardening, annual plantings and snow removal as well as maintaining various plants and gardens indoors. Assists maintenance staff as assigned.
Qualified candidate must have a minimum of one-year proven experience doing landscaping and skilled maintenance, including sheet rock repairs and painting, work in a resort, hotel or comparable facility. Minor plumbing, basic electrical, and painting experience are preferred; however, willing to train the appropriate candidate that meets the minimum qualifications of the position.
