• Hourly Wage Estimate: $24.00 hourly plus full benefit package included
• Shift: 8-hour shifts; Days
• Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, with emergency (after hours) and weekend calls as needed

What you will do in this role: Our Maintenance Manager helps make sure our patients are in a safe and comfortable environment. You will maintain all aspects of the property including building, grounds and equipment need. This may entail fixing/maintaining kitchen & office equipment, address general plumbing and minor electrical repairs or assess the needs of the ventilation system. This is an in-house building or facilities maintenance position, and we attempt to address all necessary repairs internally rather than calling an external vendor.

Example of Daily Duties:

• Ensure all maintenance activities in a facility are appropriately carried out
• Keep a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted
• Conduct minor Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC repair and servicing needs.
• Complying with all safety norms and regulations set by IDPH and the industry

Maintenance Director: officially we title this job a Maintenance Director, but in other centers it may be called a Handyman, Building Maintenance Assistant or Facilities / Property Maintenance Technician.

What we need from you:

• Minimum two years’ experience in a maintenance position in a medical setting, preferably a skilled nursing facility
• Ideally seeking entry level management candidates
• Experienced with IDPH survey requirements preferred
• You should have hands-on experience with minor Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC repair and servicing needs
• You should be familiar with (and able to repair) equipment, such as: PTAC units, Fire Alarms (systems), nurse call light systems and phones systems
• Must have excellent communication skills, written & verbal, to be able to interact with our employees and residents in the facility
• You should be comfortable working near/around medical patients
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a physically demanding position that will involve frequently lifting and carrying objects of 50 pounds.
