Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laundry Technician/Repairman located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The main responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining laundry equipment such as washers and dryers. The technician will also perform regular inspections, conduct maintenance to minimize downtime, and ensure all equipment operates at peak efficiency. Additionally, the role involves responding to service calls, maintaining a well-stocked inventory, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction by addressing technical issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical laundry equipment
- Experience with diagnostics tools, wiring schematics, and basic hand tools
- Good understanding of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to maintenance and operational guidelines
- Effective time management and organizational skills to perform scheduled machine inspections and maintenance
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and address service needs promptly
- Previous experience in facility or equipment maintenance, specifically with mechanical or electrical systems, is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations, if required
- Willingness to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area as needed
