Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards
- Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal with professionalism and attention to detail
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow established procedures for proper handling of delicate or sensitive items to prevent damage
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and guest items
Experience
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with laundry equipment operation, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
