Where and when

• Shift: 3rd Shift — 10:30 pm to 6:30 pm (slight flexibility on start time)
• Openness: We are open to different shifts
• Onboarding: Start on first shift, Monday–Friday
• Pay: $28–$32 per hour

What you’ll do

• Repair and maintain fleet vehicles to meet all DOT and company requirements
• Plan and track PMs, permits, registrations, annual tank tests, vehicle inspections, and safety equipment checks (fire extinguishers and more)
• Keep accurate, organized fleet records that satisfy company and regulatory guidelines
• Order parts and manage shop inventory
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
• Spot warranty opportunities, complete warranted repairs, and help recoup reimbursements
• Drive maintenance cost savings and support expense controls
• Pitch in on other projects as assigned by fleet management

What you bring

• 2 years as a diesel tractor–trailer mechanic preferred
• Tanker and Hazmat experience preferred; higher pay for advanced proficiency
• Experience with Peterbilt trucks and tanker trailers
• Personal set of tools
• Air Brake Certification
• CDL a plus
• ASE certification a plus

• Basic computer literacy and data entry
• Solid foundation in heavy-duty maintenance operations
