If late-night diagnostics and precision repairs are your zone, bring your expertise to McCook, IL. You'll own third-shift health and uptime for tractors, trailers, and reefer units—while documenting everything in our EAM system and keeping assets compliant.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose, rebuild, and repair heavy-duty diesel equipment.
- Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance.
- Record accurate, timely work orders in the online Enterprise Asset Management platform.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment—always.
- Other duties as assigned to support fleet readiness.
Schedule & Pay
- Location: McCook, IL
- Shift: 3rd shift (Wednesday–Saturday)
- Hours: 10:00 pm – 8:30 am
- Pay: $32–$36 per hour, DOE
Must-Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4 years of related diesel experience.
- Own your tools.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR meeting DOT standards.
- Proficiency with onboard and desktop computers.
- English proficiency to interact with the public, interpret traffic signs/signals, answer official questions, and make legible reports/records.
- Ability to frequently lift/push/pull >50 lbs; occasionally exceed that.
- Some travel as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Nice-to-Haves
- ASE certifications (Master-T a plus).
- Technical/trade school credentials.
- CDL.
- Lift gate and material handling experience.
Work Environment
Shop, office, yard, and vehicle settings; expect to lift 20–50 lbs. at least once per day.
