Duties

- Assist in menu planning by collaborating with dietitians and culinary staff to develop balanced, appealing menus that meet nutritional standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, braising pots, poaching devices, and food processors.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination and ensure freshness.
Experience
- Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role within healthcare, hospitality, or the food industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation tailored to specific dietary needs such as low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, or texture-modified diets.
- Experience with food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling protocols.
