Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
• Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Maintain resident confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations while documenting care activities in medical records or electronic health records (EHR).
• Use safe lifting practices with equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to transfer patients safely.
• Monitor residents’ conditions closely, noting changes in behavior or physical health that may require escalation or intervention.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Follow aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection transmission.
• Support specialized care needs including dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, behavioral health support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.

Experience

• Proven ability to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting or manual handling equipment safely while maintaining resident safelty standards.
• Familiar with caring for geriatric patients and managing complex conditions such as dementia or infectious diseases is advantageous.
• Certification in CPR is required.
• Strong communication skills for caregiver interactions and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare teams are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
