LaTour Hotels & Resorts, Inc., is now hiring for a Part-Time Hotels Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team at Park Plaza Resort in Park City, UT! LHR is an EOE. Job Purpose:
The Part-Time Hotel Sales Specialist (HSS) supports the General Manager in achieving and exceeding room revenue goals for this 63-unit property. This role focuses on direct sales execution, account development, and revenue optimization in alignment with company and brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute direct sales efforts across Group, Corporate, and Leisure segments.
- Prospect new business via outbound calls, referrals, trade shows, and site inspections.
- Develop and grow key accounts to increase production year-over-year.
- Coordinate group room blocks, rooming lists, attrition, and billing.
- Analyze STR reports, comp set performance, and market trends.
- Support pricing, inventory alignment, and displacement decisions.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Brand partners.
- Support the LHR culture and brand standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of 100% of assigned room revenue goals
- Meeting segment production targets
- Development of 5 new qualified accounts per quarter
- Increasing account production by 10–15% year-over-year
- Completion of 20 sales activities per week
- Maintaining a 30% lead conversion ratio
Work Environment
Office-based during regular business hours with occasional disruptions. Additional hours may be required during peak periods. Hybrid work possible with General Manager approval. Local travel within a 60-mile radius required.
Qualifications:Required Education:
- Completion of required brand training
Preferred Education:
- Associate’s degree preferred
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 3 years of hotel sales experience
- Knowledge of select-service hotel sales and revenue management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license; local travel up to 10%
