Senior Litigation Paralegal or Associate Attorney (Hybrid) (Full-Time Engagement)
Latitude is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal or Associate Attorney for a full-time, hybrid law firm engagement with a respected Indianapolis-based litigation firm. The successful candidate will support a significant, high-stakes civil litigation matter involving numerous claimants and a substantial discovery effort. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced trial lawyers on a complex case during a critical phase of litigation.
Basic Requirements for the Senior Litigation Paralegal or Associate Attorney
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401(k) plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.

Basic Requirements for the Senior Litigation Paralegal or Associate Attorney
- 7 years of litigation experience as either a senior paralegal, litigation attorney, or comparable litigation support professional
- Significant experience managing complex discovery matters, including drafting and coordinating responses to interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and related discovery obligations
- Demonstrated experience independently conducting client interviews and gathering factual information in support of complex litigation matters
- Experience supporting sophisticated civil litigation matters involving multiple parties, substantial discovery, and extensive fact development
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume discovery project with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working directly with clients, witnesses, and attorneys in active litigation matters
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- For attorney candidates, active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and good standing

- Schedule: Full-Time
- Location: Hybrid. Indianapolis-area candidates preferred. Ability to travel throughout the Indianapolis metropolitan area for client meetings is required. WFH and remote work are supported, with periodic in-office meetings and local client visits as needed.
- Duration: Approximately 30–60 days, with potential for extension depending on case needs

- Manage and coordinate discovery responses for a large, multi-party civil litigation matter
- Meet with clients and witnesses to gather information necessary for discovery responses and case development
- Draft interrogatory responses, document responses, and related discovery materials
- Organize, review, and maintain case documents, evidence, and client files
- Work closely with lead counsel to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy across discovery submissions
- Assist with factual investigation, document collection, and litigation support activities
- Track deadlines and help ensure timely compliance with discovery obligations
- Support attorneys with additional litigation, case management, and trial preparation activities as needed
