What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Law Attorney position at Latitude Legal?
Latitude is working with a Nashville-area firm seeking to add a Family Law Attorney to its team. This role is ideal for an attorney who is well-versed in family law and comfortable fielding questions from less senior attorneys, helping provide guidance on family law issues, and supporting the firm’s client-focused family law practice. The ideal candidate will have strong experience advising on and managing family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, parenting plans, and related domestic matters.
This is a permanent hybrid position in the Nashville Metropolitan area.
Basic Requirements For The Family Law Attorney
Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $125,000 - $150,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20 hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.

- Licensed Tennessee attorney with at least 4 years of experience specifically in family law
- Strong working knowledge of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related domestic issues

- Strong client communication, judgment, organization, and relationship-building skills
