In-House Commercial Transactions Attorney (On-site / Full Time In-House Counsel)

While this is an entry-level in-house position, the attorney must be able to independently manage deal flow, including due diligence, negotiating, drafting and closing. During an interview, candidates will be asked to name the specific types of transactions they have supported and explain their involvement. This is an on-site position in the Nashville area with robust benefits, including future eligibility in a stock option plan.
Basic Requirements For The In-House Commercial Transactions Attorney
Pay: The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $220,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.

Basic Requirements For The In-House Commercial Transactions Attorney
- 4 years of corporate transactional experience at a BigLaw firm
- Solid foundation in general corporate work — M&A, commercial contracts, corporate transactions
- Finance experience (loan agreements, credit facilities, letters of credit, or similar) is a significant plus
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work efficiently and successfully in a high-paced corporate environment, managing multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to work across various business teams and internal stakeholders
- Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible to register for in-house exemption)
- Outstanding professional references from former supervisors
