Litigation Paralegal A well-established plaintiff-side litigation practice is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with substantial trial preparation and courtroom support experience. This role supports complex, high-stakes civil litigation and is ideal for a paralegal who has worked cases from filing through verdict.Role OverviewThis position plays a critical role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, with a strong emphasis on trial readiness and execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing demanding caseloads involving complex personal injury matters.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare cases for trial, including exhibit lists, witness coordination, trial binders, and courtroom logisticsDraft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responsesManage litigation calendars, deadlines, and trial schedules across multiple courtsCoordinate and support depositions, mediations, hearings, and trialsAssist attorneys during trial, including real-time courtroom supportMaintain organized case files and manage evidence and discovery databasesHandle federal and state e-filing requirementsCommunicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnelQualifications5 years of litigation experience on the plaintiff sideDemonstrated experience preparing for and supporting trialsPrior involvement in jury trials strongly preferredExperience with medical malpractice and sexual abuse casesFamiliarity with mediation and settlement processesAbility to manage cases independently with minimal supervisionExceptional organizational and multitasking skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and AdobeExperience with legal case management systems (e.g., Filevine or similar) preferred
