You’ll be responsible for implementing security policy, leading security reviews, advising program staff, managing incident responses, and ensuring airtight compliance across all operational security domains.This is a hands-on, on-site position supporting a fast-paced environment where accuracy, discretion, and proactive problem-solving are essential.What You’ll DoSupport day-to-day security operations for a portfolio of sensitive government programsInterpret and apply complex security regulations, directives, and policiesDevelop, refine, and execute program-specific security proceduresConduct facility reviews, readiness checks, compliance assessments, and close-out activitiesTrack, report, and follow through on corrective actions and process improvementsProvide briefings to leadership and staff on security requirements, responsibilities, and updatesInvestigate and document security incidents, including potential information compromisesIdentify vulnerabilities, risks, and process gaps, and recommend enhancementsSupport personnel security matters, documentation, training, and onboarding requirementsPartner with program managers, technical teams, and external stakeholders to maintain a strong security postureContribute to security education, awareness initiatives, and team-wide best practicesProvide mentorship, support, and guidance to junior security personnelWhat You Bring5–7 years of experience in security operations, program protection, or related fieldsBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)Demonstrated experience managing compliance activities, audits, assessments, or operational security programsStrong understanding of classified program requirements, security protocols, and regulatory frameworksAbility to analyze risk, identify gaps, troubleshoot issues, and offer actionable solutionsSkilled communicator—written, verbal, and interpersonal—with comfort presenting to leadershipProficiency with standard office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and collaborate with diverse teamsHigh attention to detail, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently
