This is a full-time hybrid role located in Atlanta, GA, offering a combination of on-site and remote work. As an English Second Language Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective lesson plans, teaching English to adult learners at various proficiency levels, and preparing students for language proficiency tests such as the IELTS. You will assess students' language skills, provide constructive feedback, and help them achieve their goals in English proficiency. Collaboration with other educators and tailoring instruction to meet diverse cultural and educational backgrounds are key aspects of the role.
- Proficiency in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language
- Skills in Lesson Planning and creating engaging instructional materials
- Experience preparing students for standardized English tests such as IELTS
- Knowledge in employing techniques aligned with adult learning principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural competence
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL, English, or a related field
