Overview:
This position requires an individual with introductory level engineering experience in the manufacturing industry.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist Engineering Managers in continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in manufacturing pilot batches.
- Assist in tooling projects.
- Assist in root cause analysis for manufacturing problems.
- Assist in the updating of engineering documents as directed by the appropriate personnel.
- Other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
- Physical strength to lift and/or carry minimum of 50 pounds frequently.
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Computer: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Auto CAD.
- Team cooperation – maintain positive/cooperative attitude with all employees of Laticrete and customers.
- High School diploma.
- College Degree in Engineering currently in Progress. Chemical Engineering preferred.
- 0% (no travel authorized for Intern position)
