POSITIONSUMMARY
The Maintenance Technicianprovidesexpertisefor equipment installation, start-upand maintenance of plant equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
Additionalduties and responsibilities may beassigned,as necessary.
Preventative Maintenance (50%)
Perform routine tasks such as greasing bearings, changing belts, changing oil, performing inspections, cleaning equipment,etc.tomaintainequipment reliability.
Support production workers during routine preventative maintenanceactivities; (TPM).
Equipment Repair (40%)
Installs,repairsandmaintainsmachinery and mechanical equipment.
Dismantle machinery to remove or replace defective parts.
Optimizeuse of maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies needed to repair equipment to OEM standards.
Repair facility and building items as needed.
Equipment Troubleshooting (5%)
Identifycomplex electrical,mechanicaland pneumatic problems onproductionmachinery and facility equipment.
Locates sources of problems byobservingmachinery in operation.
Utilize tools to isolate malfunctioning equipment (ex. Multimeter, tachometer,callipers, etc.)
Administrative (5%)
Log all work performed into the Company CMMS.
Complete end of shift reports communicating between maintenance and production departments.
Order replacement parts for stock or parts for repair.
Performing housekeeping, making sureareais clean at all times.
REQUIREDSKILLS &QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year experiencemaintainingand repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Specialized Skills and Experience:)
Good English language skills both verbal and written (Spanish speaking a plus).
Goodcomputer skills including Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Travel Requirement:
Occasional travelasrequired.
Physical Requirements:
Must pass pre-employmentphysical.
Lift: Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of50pounds.
Push/Pull: Mustbe able to push/pull 50pounds.
Stand: Mustbe able to stand80% - 85%of the day.
Sitting: Mustbe able to sit25%of the day.
Twisting/Bending: Mustbe able to twist/bend75% of the day.
Squatting,Climbingand/or Crawling:Must be able to squat/climb/crawl 25% of the day.
Able to work on heights, climb several flights of stairs (over 5 stories) daily if required.
