We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Executive to join our personal lines team. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor for individuals and families, providing tailored insurance solutions that protect their homes, vehicles, valuables, and lifestyle. This is a salaried position with a leverage- based compensation structure, rewarding you for quality service, new business, and client retention.
As a core point of contact, you’ll be responsible for managing an assigned book of personal lines business, facilitating new business and delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring policies are properly bound, maintained, and renewed. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow an assigned book of personal lines clients, ensuring exceptional service and retention
Cultivate new business opportunities by developing lead sources, building relationships with centers of influence (COIs), and participating in local networking efforts.
Provide day-to-day client support, including claims, inspections, billing support, and coverage inquiries to include new business.
Monitor renewals and proactively engage clients ahead of policy expiration to reinforce retention. Advise changes as necessary.
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and educate clients on additional coverage options
Maintain complete and accurate records in the agency management system, ensuring compliance with documentation standards
Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to secure optimal pricing and proper coverage for clients
Maintain a deep understanding of carrier guidelines, underwriting criteria, and available personal lines products and carriers
Meet individual sales, service, and retention goals as defined by management.
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent experience
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
Solid understanding of personal insurance products, including auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella, flood, etc.
Experience in a leverage-based sales role, with a shown track record of success
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Comfortable working with agency management systems and standard office software (EPIC, Applied, Microsoft Office)
A client-first mindset, strong problem-solving skills with strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience handling high-net-worth personal lines clients.
Familiarity with multi-state or specialty personal lines coverages.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary- $35,000-$50,000 Commission -Target $100K
