What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity Attorney position at Lateral Link?
What you’ll do:
- Run PE/M&A transactions with direct client contact
- Draft/negotiate SPAs, merger and rollover docs, equity and incentive plans, and key ancillaries
- Own diligence, closings, and counterparty/advisor coordination
- Supervise juniors and work directly alongside senior attorneys and partners
What you'll bring:
- 2 years at a leading firm handling PE/M&A deals
- Proven independent ownership within a team
- Strong business judgment and crisp writing/speaking
- IL bar license or eligibility to waive in/sit for next exam
