We are working with an elite, globally recognized international law firm, who is actively looking to hire a litigation associate to join its expanding New York City office.
This role will handle some of the most complex, high-stakes domestic and global disputes and cross-border matters. The firm's New York office offers a premier International Litigation practice group.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent multinational corporations, financial institutions, and sovereign entities in complex international litigations and cross-border disputes.
- Draft high-level pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests for matters in both federal/state courts and international arbitration tribunals.
- Conduct extensive legal research on sophisticated points of US, foreign, and international law.
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior associates on case strategy, witness preparation, and trial/hearing readiness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 2 years of litigation experience, ideally gained at a major peer law firm
- Focus: A strong, demonstrated interest in international disputes; prior experience with international arbitration is highly preferred for more senior candidates within the range.
- Academics: Stellar academic credentials and a high level of achievement during law school are required.
- Clerkships: A judicial clerkship is considered a strong plus.
- Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the New York State Bar (or eligible to waive in).
