What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Governance Litigation Associate position at Lateral Link?
Lateral Link is assisting a premier litigation firm seeking an entrepreneurial Associate to join the firm’s Corporate Governance litigation practice.
The candidate may sit in Delaware or the New York office.
The associate will represent investors and work towards the goal of achieving governance reforms at public companies which will in turn increase market transparency, hold wrongdoers accountable and protect the shareholder franchise.
- 2018 – 2022 JD grads
- Preference for DE barred attorneys but NY barred works
- The group is open to defense side candidates
- Must have meaningful experience in one or both: (i) prosecuting or defending complex stockholder or commercial litigation; (ii) Delaware corporate law/breach of fiduciary duty litigation.
- Delaware Chancery or Delaware Supreme Court clerkships are a major plus.
Associates are given as much responsibility as they are capable and willing to handle.
