I am assisting a repeat client and AmLaw firm with a new exclusive & unposted search for a Communications Associate for the firm's D.C. office.
The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of relevant experience.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with partners whose practices span the full spectrum of communications law. One of the main partners advises satellite, space, wireless, and technology companies on complex regulatory, licensing, spectrum, and transactional matters before the FCC, NOAA, CFIUS, Team Telecom, and international regulators. Others represent media, communications, and technology clients in regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters before the FCC, Department of Justice, Copyright Royalty Board, and federal courts, with experience in broadcast regulation, NextGenTV (ATSC 3.0), ownership, political broadcasting, accessibility, E911, and communications transactions.
The associate will work on sophisticated regulatory, transactional, and counseling matters involving satellite and space technologies, broadcast and media regulation, telecommunications, emerging technologies, and commercial agreements, while developing broad expertise across one of the nation's leading communications practices.
The group seeks someone who is interested in the other aspects of communications and not siloed in satellite and space.
