We are seeking an Executive Director who shares our commitment to a program built on trust, respect, and high ethical standards. Specifically, the ideal candidate has proven ability in:● Creating and maintaining strong partnerships with families,● Hiring, training, and retaining staff to include mentoring and supporting staff through regular feedback and professional development opportunities,● Successfully managing/maintaining a child development center, and● Demonstrating strong ethical standards and integrity in all work.Qualifications● Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s Degree with experience in early childhood education considered. Education in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or early childhood special education required. Education verification will be completed● Minimum of three (3) years of experience in child care, preferably a combination of infant, toddler, and preschool experience● Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a leadership role● Extensive knowledge of West Virginia State Licensing and NAEYC accreditation● Background check and REAL ID (driver’s license) required● Strong leadership, supervisory, and customer service skills and ability to create/maintain partnerships with families and staff● Knowledge of developmentally appropriate curriculum and the ability to lead staff in implementing the same● Strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks or crisis situations effectively● Capacity to understand and manage center financial duties, such as budgeting, enrollment, and operational procedures● Computer literacy● Must meet state educational and licensing requirements for director● Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and sound moral judgment● Additional center/school requirements may apply
Salary : $35,000 - $60,000
