Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas
- Support cooking processes by monitoring food items during preparation and ensuring proper presentation
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of ingredients
- Contribute to banquet setups and catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of guest service and hospitality
- Follow all health regulations and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments a plus
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
