Our team sits at the intersection of tradition and technology, building the future of wine while staying rooted in what makes it special.You will be a key member of the accounting team with responsibilities to:Analyze wine production costs and allocate bulk wine, dry good, and production costs to individual SKUs after bottling.Prepare reports for outbound shipping and third-party logistics that are used to produce the monthly unit economics model. Calculate sales commissions for private sales channels for each payroll periodPrepare journal entries and account reconciliations for leases, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, etc.Daily banking and monthly bank account reconciliationsDevelop process for monthly and quarterly account reconciliationsKey contributor to month end close process for parent entity, two subsidiaries, and a joint ventureProvide documents and explanations to external auditors to facilitate annual auditsAd hoc projects for CFO and managementQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting5 years of Senior Level experience.Proven experience in developing and implementing accounting processes Intermediate to expert in excelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from Sr. Manager to accomplish objectivesExceptional attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skillsSolid written and verbal communication skills spanning all levels of the company from staff to C levelCompensation:Base Salary: $100,000–$120,000Annual Bonus: Target bonus of 10% of base salary, paid annually, contingent upon individual performance and overall company profitabilityWhat can we offer you?You’ll join a committed team with a strong culture of delivering the best to our customers, as well as a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
