Parts Counter Associate

Laser Sales Inc, a large supplier for outdoor power equipment parts and accessories for over 65 years is looking for a Full-Time Parts Counter/Warehouse Associate.

Requirements

• Able to lift 50lbs
• Computer Skills including Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, Power-point, Teams)
• Previous warehouse or sales counter experience

Responsibilities

• Assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone by answering all calls according to company policy, and accurately looking up parts.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Load and unload parts trucks and freight deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain professional behavior and communication with other team members and customers
• Pulls orders for delivery, making sure all parts are tagged with correct item numbers and are with customer tickets.
• Accurately pick, pack or put away parts for orders
• Packages parts for outgoing orders and creates shipping labels
• Creates Chainsaw chain loops for customers if a chain is unusual or custom size.
• Basic skills in sales, shipping, and receiving
• Ability to operate a computer
• Accurately complete all paperwork and required documentation
• Perform additional tasks as directed

Qualifications

• Experience with 2 & 4 cycle engines is a plus
• Prior experience running a small engine or auto parts counter is a plus
• The ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision
• Forklift Experience Preferred

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM No Weekends! Paid Holidays off a year!
