Position Overview

Laser Photonics Corporation is seeking an organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator with

prior laser industry experience to coordinate service activities, schedule technicians, manage customer requests, and support the service department. This individual will serve as a key point of contact between customers, service technicians, engineering, and internal departments to ensure service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities are handled efficiently.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting laser equipment, coordinating technical service operations, and communicating with customers regarding equipment issues, troubleshooting, and service requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule service calls, equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and field service visits.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers requesting technical support or service assistance.
• Work directly with service technicians, engineers, and internal departments to coordinate service activities and resolve customer issues.
• Track service requests, work orders, repair status, and customer follow-ups.
• Assist with troubleshooting coordination for laser equipment and determine when technical escalation is required.
• Coordinate equipment returns, replacement parts, warranty repairs, and service documentation.
• Communicate service timelines, scheduling updates, and repair status to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records, customer information, equipment history, and service reports.
• Assist with coordinating parts availability, shipping logistics, and technician travel arrangements when necessary.
• Monitor outstanding service requests to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Support the development and maintenance of service procedures and departmental records.
• Identify recurring service issues and communicate trends to management and engineering.
• Provide administrative support to the service department as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in the laser industry is required.
• Experience coordinating technical service, equipment repairs, field service, or maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with industrial laser systems, laser equipment, or laser-based manufacturing technology.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple service requests simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow up on open service issues.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, engineers, and management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting industrial laser cleaning, marking, engraving, or cutting systems.
• Familiarity with laser equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair processes.
• Experience with service management software, CRM systems, or ERP platforms.
• Experience coordinating field technicians, parts shipments, warranty claims, and equipment returns.
• Background working for a laser equipment manufacturer or industrial equipment service organization.
