What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Submit and process Ford warranty claims accurately and efficiently
- Ensure maximum claim reimbursement through proper coding, story structure, and documentation
- Audit repair orders for:
- Technician stories
- Labor ops and times
- Required documentation (MPIs, diagnostics, etc.)
- Monitor and reduce:
- Claim rejections / chargebacks
- Aging warranty schedules
- Work closely with:
- Service Advisors
- Technicians
- Parts Department
- Stay up-to-date with Ford policies, bulletins, and warranty procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve:
- Workflow
- Compliance
- Profitability
What We’re Looking For
- Ford warranty experience preferred (strongly)
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds (R&R) a plus
- Deep understanding of:
- Warranty policies
- Labor operations
- Proper story documentation
- Detail-oriented to the point where errors bother you
- Ability to manage high volume without sacrificing accuracy
- Strong communication skills (you’ll be coaching advisors/techs indirectly)
