Senior Financial Analyst

LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing SaaS organization in the Schaumburg, IL area to identify a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and evolving environment. This individual will report directly to the Senior Controller and play a key role in supporting accounting, reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives across the organization.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and support ongoing improvements and automation within the reporting process
• Assist with month-end close activities, including reviewing financial statement activity, monitoring balance sheet accounts, and performing account reconciliations
• Help ensure financial data and activity are aligned with proper accounting treatment
• Manage reporting from multiple data sources in support of key metrics provided to senior leadership, external partners, banks, auditors, and other stakeholders
• Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data tied to customers, clients, and internally developed CRM tools
• Support oversight of financial reporting in a high-volume data environment with significant cash movement activity
• Assist in improving forecasting models and analytical support files to monitor business performance and committed results
• Develop ad hoc dashboards and data models using data warehouse and business intelligence tools to better analyze and present monthly results
• Contribute to the research, selection, and implementation of integrated accounting systems, cash management technology, and expense tracking/reporting tools
• Maintain compliance with company information security policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and privacy of information assets
  
  

Senior Financial Analyst Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial systems roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and data integrity management
• Experience with ERP or financial platform implementations such as Workday, NetSuite, Intacct, or similar systems
• Experience with data warehouse or analytics tools such as Snowflake, Sigma, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Exposure to process automation and AI-driven improvements is preferred
• Experience working in high-volume cash environments, ideally within banking, payments, POS, or related industries, is preferred

Salary and Benefits

• Salary range is budgeted between $110,000 - $130,000
• Full-time, benefits-eligible position- A comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees is offered as well.
• Location: Schaumburg, IL
• Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week in office
