Senior Software Developer (AWS / Full Stack)

Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Type: Long-Term Contract

Compensation: $60/hour–$65/hour

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Nashville. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in AWS, full-stack development, and data integration. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable applications and enterprise data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern full-stack technologies
• Build and optimize cloud-based solutions within AWS, including services like Redshift and Aurora PostgreSQL
• Develop and manage data integrations from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms into centralized systems (data lakes/warehouses)
• Improve system performance, data storage efficiency, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and development best practices
  
  

Required Experience & Skills

• 5 years of AWS experience, including Redshift and Aurora PostgreSQL
• 5 years of experience with NestJS, Angular, and PHP
• 5 years of experience with data integration across multiple sources into enterprise applications or data platforms
• 2 years of experience with GitLab (or similar tools)
• 2 years optimizing data storage, retrieval, performance, and cost efficiency
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and scalable system design
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise data lakes or data warehouses
• Familiarity with streaming platforms and real-time data processing
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
