Senior Budget Analyst

LaSalle Network is partnering with a nonprofit organization in Chicago to bring on a Senior Budget Analyst during its critical budget cycle! This role will take ownership of completing and validating budgets within Martus, with a heavy focus on personnel costs, program allocations and funding alignment. This is a high-impact, independent role supporting senior leadership during a transitional period.

Senior Budget Analyst Responsibilities

• Own and complete budgets in Martus, including personnel, benefits and program allocations
• Review and validate department budgets for accuracy and alignment
• Allocate administrative/shared costs across programs
• Partner with leadership to finalize budgets and present summaries
• Transition into reporting, tracking and budget performance monitoring
  
  

What's Needed

• 5-7 years of budgeting, FP&A or financial analysis experience
• 2 years of Martus budgeting tool experience
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and financial modeling
• Experience with financial statements and program-level budgeting
  
  

Preferred

• Nonprofit experience
• Financial Edge and Juris experience

• Employment Type: Contract (est. 2-3 months)
• Compensation: $40-45/hr.
