Senior Budget Analyst Responsibilities
- Own and complete budgets in Martus, including personnel, benefits and program allocations
- Review and validate department budgets for accuracy and alignment
- Allocate administrative/shared costs across programs
- Partner with leadership to finalize budgets and present summaries
- Transition into reporting, tracking and budget performance monitoring
- 5-7 years of budgeting, FP&A or financial analysis experience
- 2 years of Martus budgeting tool experience
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and financial modeling
- Experience with financial statements and program-level budgeting
- Nonprofit experience
- Financial Edge and Juris experience
- Immediate, high-impact role during critical budget cycle

- Exposure to senior leadership and organizational decision-making
- Clear project scope with defined timeline
- Location: Chicago, IL (1 day on-site, primarily remote)
- Employment Type: Contract (est. 2-3 months)
- Compensation: $40-45/hr.
