HR Operations Specialist

LaSalle Network is hiring a HR Operations Specialist to join a fast-growing, marketing agency in the heart of Chicago. This HR Operations Specialist role is perfect for someone who thrives in a high-visibility environment and enjoys owning key HR functions like payroll, benefits, and compliance.

This hybrid opportunity (4 day a week onsite) is looking to get someone started immediately. If you're detail-oriented, collaborative and ready to make an immediate impact, this HR Operations Specialist opportunity offers both stability and growth.

HR Operations SpecialistResponsibilities

• Own end-to-end, biweekly multi-state payroll for ~200 employees
• Manage payroll inputs including commissions, bonuses and adjustments
• Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits questions
• Lead open enrollment and ongoing benefits education initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws
• Manage audits, reporting requirements and HR documentation
• Support onboarding, HRIS setup and new hire experience
• Assist with day-to-day HR operations and employee inquiries
  
  

HR Operations SpecialistResponsibilities

• 3 years of experience in payroll, benefits or HR operations
• Hands-on multi-state payroll processing experience
• Strong understanding of HR compliance and benefits administration
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paycor preferred)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
