The Executive Assistant to CEO will play a critical role in ensuring the CEO’s time, priorities, and communications are managed seamlessly, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Executive Assistant To CEO Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO
- Manage complex, ever-changing calendars with a high degree of accuracy and urgency
- Coordinate domestic and international travel on a frequent basis, including detailed itineraries
- Handle internal and external correspondence on behalf of the CEO
- Support quarterly Board of Directors meetings, including:
- Scheduling and logistics
- Board member travel coordination
- Expense management and reconciliation
- Process and track executive expenses
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and a team of Executive Assistants
- Ensure all processes are aligned with established SOPs while identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement
- Anticipate needs, proactively resolve issues, and take ownership of executive support
- 7 years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably in a technology or high-growth environment
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-urgency role
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally at all levels
- Experience supporting board meetings and senior leadership teams
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency
- Compensation: $55.00 per hour
- Location: Chicago, IL
- Work Model: Hybrid schedule and required being on-site four days per week in downtown Chicago.
