What You’ll Do
- Champion a proactive safety culture by driving EHS initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the facility
- Partner with plant leadership to coach, train, and engage employees in achieving safety goals
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Coordinate EHS compliance activities and serve as a key liaison for internal teams and external agencies
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels
- Identify workplace hazards and implement programs that reduce risk, injuries, and incidents
- Track and report safety metrics, trends, and compliance data using EHS systems (e.g., Gensuite)
- Support workers’ compensation processes and documentation
- Assist with facility-related EHS planning, maintenance, and capital project initiatives
- Build relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all applicable standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication, custom equipment, or assembly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance standards
- Proven ability to lead investigations, drive change, and improve safety performance
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
