Substitute Campus Security Officer *Updated Job Description

• Flexible Schedule-30 Hours per week Monday through Friday*
  
  

This position will monitor the Weapon Detection System at various high schools and middle schools.

$17.13 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum level one state certification or training for security or, obtain Level one within first year.
• Successful passing of fingerprint and background check.
• Must be able to communicate with staff, students, and public.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Minimum two years' experience with law enforcement/corrections or, minimum two years' experience with the fire department or,
• Honorably discharged military/reserve
• Previous experience as security guard, law enforcement, military
