Position Overview
Larson’s Steam Clean is hiring a Lead Technician to run our truckmount system and lead a 2-person crew.
This is a customer-facing, performance-driven role. You will be responsible not only for cleaning, but also for communicating with customers and recommending additional services when appropriate.

Responsibilities
- Operate truckmount (hot water extraction)
- Lead and direct a helper on job sites
- Perform carpet, tile & grout, and upholstery cleaning
- Communicate professionally with customers in their home
- Recommend and upsell services such as protector, deodorizer, and additional cleaning
- Maintain equipment, van, and job quality standards
Pay Structure
- $20/hour (Lead Technician)
- Upsell Commission: Earn 10% on all add-on services
This role rewards performance. Strong communicators who can confidently recommend services will earn more.
Requirements
- Carpet cleaning experience preferred (truckmount experience a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead and work with a helper
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable, professional, and physically capable of field work
