Part-Time Junior Attorney or Senior Paralegal
Location: Milwaukee
Schedule: Part-Time (flexible hours)

Overview
Our client, a leading automotive company, is seeking a junior-level attorney or experienced senior/lead paralegal to support our legal team on a part-time basis. This role will focus on SEC Filings, Corporate Governance, and commercial contracting.This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking for flexibility, with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
SEC & Public Company Compliance
Prepare and file Section 16 reports (Forms 3, 4, and 5)
Maintain Section 16 tracking and compliance calendars
Assist with proxy statement preparation and related disclosures
NYSE & Regulatory Filings
Support NYSE listing compliance and ongoing reporting requirements
Coordinate and prepare required filings and communications
Corporate Governance & Entity Management
Assist with legal entity governance and maintenance
Prepare board and committee materials, resolutions, and minutes
Maintain corporate records and entity management systems
Commercial Contracts
Review, draft, and negotiate supplier and vendor agreements
Identify key legal and business risks and propose practical solutions
Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient contract execution
Qualifications
JD and active bar admission (preferred), OR
Senior/lead paralegal experience with significant exposure to public company work
Experience:
1-4 years of experience (law firm or in-house) for attorneys, OR
5 years of relevant experience for paralegals
Experience with commercial contracts, especially supplier/vendor agreements
Familiarity with SEC filings (Forms 3/4/5, proxy statements) and Section 16 compliance
Exposure to NYSE compliance and corporate governance practices preferred
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity
Practical, business-oriented approach to legal issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills
