Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and applying internal controls related to confidential information handling, internal boundaries, and activity restrictions.
- Support the control room in evaluating and escalating matters involving potential exposure to non‑public information.
- Coordinate and document approvals for temporary access to sensitive matters, including required attestations and acknowledgements.
- Provide operational support for a firm‑wide security restriction process, including input, monitoring, and clearance of affected securities.
- Review trading or transaction activity for consistency with applicable internal limitations and flag potential issues for further review.
- Help maintain clear records and audit trails supporting restriction decisions and internal governance requirements.
- Support reviews or inquiries into potential control breaches or inappropriate activity, partnering with legal and people teams as needed.
- Assist in developing and delivering targeted education for employees with elevated information‑related risk exposure.
- Track regulatory developments and enforcement trends related to insider activity, market conduct, and information controls.
Experience & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk, or regulatory roles within financial services, with exposure to control room operations or information‑barrier oversight.
- Working knowledge of U.S. securities regulations related to insider trading and market abuse.
- Familiarity with trading surveillance, monitoring tools, or transaction review processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document issues clearly and escalate appropriately.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Collaborative and dependable, with the ability to work across compliance, legal, and business teams.
- Able to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment while managing competing priorities.
- Self‑motivated with an interest in developing technical and regulatory expertise.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
