Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join the firm's Complex Litigation practice in New York, NY and Long Island, NY. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement and the chance to work on high-profile matters for national clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including investigation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with partners and colleagues in a team-oriented environment
- Provide strategic guidance and timely updates to clients
- Participate in mediations, court appearances, and settlement negotiations
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- 3 years of defense litigation experience, preferably in general liability, personal injury, transportation, or catastrophic injury defense
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex matters and build strong client relationships
