Our client, a national, full-service, AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of commercial litigation experience to join their national practice group. Role Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and related proceedings.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with precision and strategic insight.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client counseling.
- Manage depositions, hearings, and trial preparation in collaboration with partners.
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the New York/New Jersey Bar (or eligibility for admission).
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial litigation
- Prior experience working on insurance coverage cases is highly preferred (but not required)
- Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in high-stakes litigation and client service excellence.
