Larson, Kellett & Associates, P.C. is a full-service public accounting and consulting firm with two offices located in Montoursville, Pennsylvania and Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. We are seeking a Payroll & Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that combines payroll and client bookkeeping responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
· Prepare and file payroll tax returns
· Perform bookkeeping services for multiple clients across various industries
· Record financial transactions and reconcile accounts on a regular basis
· Prepare general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
· Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed
· Work directly with clients to resolve discrepancies and answer questions
· Maintain organized and accurate financial records
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping; college degree is a plus
· Strong understanding or basic accounting principles and concepts
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online is preferred
· Willingness to learn additional payroll and bookkeeping software
· Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
