Larson, Kellett & Associates, P.C. is a full-service public accounting and consulting firm with two offices located in Montoursville, Pennsylvania and Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. We are searching for part-time or full-time bookkeepers to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with minimal accounting experience to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic public accounting environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping, college degree is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Previous experience with QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online is desirable
- Willingness to learn bookkeeping software
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
· Perform bookkeeping services for multiple clients in various industries
- Utilize bookkeeping software to record all financial transactions and reconcile accounts on a regular basis
- Prepare general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
· Assist with reporting and analysis as needed
- Work directly with clients to resolve discrepancies
